Inspired by the allure and mysticism of the Mexican Caribbean, Dior has come to this charming corner of the world to present “J’Adior Tulum”, the new capsule collection that embodies the essence of this natural and multicultural destination.

The collection created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior Creative Director, is “an ode to the beauty and plurality of cultures that Monsieur Dior so loved” and represents the beginning of a new chapter in the ties between Mexico and Dior, which have existed since the house’s founding.

Chosen for its organic architecture that fuses with the surrounding jungle, ZAK IK Tulum, AZULIK Tulum’s fashion boutique, will hold a collection that resonates with Chiuri’s love affair with this country. “Mexico inspires me enormously. It fascinates me, from the beauty of its natural landscapes to its exceptional architecture, cultural traditions, and artistic influence,” the designer said in an interview.

In a series of events attended by figures such as Mexican actresses Yalitza Aparicio and Eiza González, Dior revitalized bonds that have strengthened over the years with every fashion show and event. “Inaugurating two pop-ups, in Cancun and Tulum, is for me a very important event. In this way, Dior cultivates a precious dialogue with these two extraordinary, cosmopolitan cities by celebrating elegance and excellence in savoir-faire,” Chiuri asserted.

The exclusive capsule, comprised of a selection of striped swimwear, Mitzah scarves and the Dior Book Tote part of the 2020 Cruise collection, will be available at ZAK IK through the end of January.
